High Water Mark
2012
ink on paper
14" x 11"
The organic movement of sand mixing with water on the beach captivates human eyes. Many who visit this edge spend time watching the waves break on the shore or look out to the vastness of the ocean. Land is connected to water by all the subtle variations of movement and molecules which makes these two elements separate yet entwined.

Observing high water marks on the beach, I was able to capture subtle evidence left by motions of waves.
